Petrina arrived at Red Bell Run with two youngsters, Pico and his younger brother Pedro. There is just something about those mini donkeys with the spots that melt your heart! The little family is doing well and enjoying their days at their village of “Hee Haws”. They are living in a newer addition that is perfect for their needs. Our policy is to not separate families or preferred associates. Because donkeys bond for life this often minimizes the stress they would feel if it were otherwise. Giving sanctuary comes with it’s own set of best practices!
