Lenny is the foal of Lola, a donkey saved from a horrific hoarding situation by the Circle of Friends Rescue Group in Oklahoma. Lola soon presented us with the adorable Lenny who immediately stole everyone’s heart! Lola and her six friends were given sanctuary at Red Bell Run and live at the Longears Lodge barn. Lenny is a small standard donkey and despite a bit of a rough start, is now five years old and a happy, healthy donkey. He lives with his herd mates, spending his days rough housing with his friends and delighting our equine staff and visitors with his antics! In the picture below you will see that Lenny was actually the inspiration for our logo!
